Things have changed quite a bit since the UK’s first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) back in January. There are now thousands of cases across the country, with the Government implementing a step-by-step plan to slow the spread.
On Monday 23rd March, that plan was amplified significantly when the Prime Minister announced a “lockdown” period of at least three weeks. In simple terms, that meant avoiding non-essential travel, working remotely wherever possible and staying two metres away from people in public. Crucially it warned against any sort of public gatherings or social events.
Needless to say, these measures are completely necessary.
At M19 Solutions, we’re doing our utmost to work within the guidelines while continuing to provide the same high-quality private investigation services to our customers. So, you don’t have to let wrongdoings and suspicions add to your anxieties during these difficult, unprecedented times.
Private investigation during the lockdown
First and foremost, we can confirm that our expert private investigation services are still available during the lockdown. Unfortunately, there are a range of issues faced by companies and individuals that simply don’t stop, even during a pandemic.
Whether you want to trace a missing person or expose insurance fraud, we’re on hand to help throughout the coming months and beyond. However, rest assured we have some essential measures in place to stop the spread of the disease.
No face to face meetings
Coronavirus is primarily spread through the air when people are in close contact. That’s why the Government has advised people to stay two metres apart at shops or pharmacies. To eliminate this issue, we’ll no longer be holding face to face meetings with clients.
Our team are happy to talk at length on the phone to discuss your issues and the best course of action – and to provide an update on your case. If you would prefer, we can also hold a video call for a ‘virtual face-to-face’ meeting.
Remote payments
On top of that, we’re happy to take card payments over the phone. Again, this avoids unnecessary close contact, but also the potential of the virus spreading on surfaces like cards and cash. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
While there’s still very little known about COVID-19, there is a possibility that it can spread by contaminated surfaces. With similar viruses surviving on surfaces for 9-28 days, we don’t think it’s worth the risk.
Arrange a remote consultation
M19 Solutions is still here to help you. We’ll continue to do our utmost to stop the spread of coronavirus without compromising the discreet service and reliable evidence we deliver to clients. If you want to arrange a consultation by phone or video call, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
And, of course, stay safe and stay at home wherever possible.
